Privacy
Thinkite has no accounts, telemetry, analytics, or cookies, and it runs no server of its own that sees your sessions.
Between your phone and your Mac
The iOS app connects to the Thinkite app on your Mac over an end-to-end encrypted QUIC connection (iroh, TLS 1.3). Pairing gives the phone your Mac's public key, and each side's key is verified in the handshake. Prompts, code, diffs, and answers travel only over that connection.
To find each other, the apps use iroh's public infrastructure run by n0: your Mac publishes its public key and network addresses so the phone can reach it, and when a network blocks a direct path, an iroh relay forwards the connection's packets. Those packets stay encrypted end to end, and the relay can't read them.
On your Mac
Your sessions are run by opencode on your Mac. opencode sends prompts and code to the model providers you set up, under those providers' terms, and stores your provider API keys on your Mac. The phone never receives them.
Updates
The Mac app checks GitHub Releases for new versions. The iOS app checks Expo's update service for app updates. Neither check includes your sessions or code.
